Our lumber fence pickets, posts, and horizontal rails come standard with a manufacturer’s warranty against termite damage and rot. Our Job-Tested Wood Fence Specs
Using the local wind code as a reference, Southern Exteriors Fence Co. constructs your new wood fence to the highest possible building standard. Unless otherwise specified, we install most of our wood fences with posts every four or ten feet.
Our wood specification includes:

1’ x 6’ pickets
4 x 4 metal posts for all gate openings, all gates 5′ wide and larger come with welded metal frames

How We Build Wood Fences
We carefully construct your wood fence from scratch on site. Our installers set every post in concrete to keep your posts from shifting or leaning. They then nail up every board one at a time using hot-dipped, galvanized ring shank nails that won’t rust or fall apart. This custom construction process is stronger than pre-built panels, resulting in a wood fence that beautifully stands the test of time even under the harshest conditions.
Our installation capabilities include shadowbox wood fences, board-on-board wood privacy fences, “good neighbor” wood fences, dog ear wood fences, and stockade wood fences.
