Pool safety codes dictate that pool fence panels must be a minimum of 48” high. Your Southern Exterior Fence Co. pool fence will be designed to meet or exceed that code. Our installers will also ensure that there are no toeholds or handholds that a child could use to climb over. We install our vertical pickets at a maximum of 4” apart, and our horizontal support members no less than 45” apart. Once we’re finished, the bottom of your pool fence will not exceed 4” above a solid foundation or 2” above a pliable surface (gravel, mulch, grass, etc.).
